Beef FAT / TALLOW

To make tallow simply, start by cutting beef fat (suet) into small pieces and placing it in a slow cooker or a pot with a small amount of water. Cook on low heat, stirring occasionally to prevent burning, until the fat melts and becomes clear, leaving behind crispy cracklings. Strain the liquid fat through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove impurities, then let it cool and solidify before storing it in airtight containers. This method is straightforward and can be done with minimal equipment.
